Was coming back from Chicago Saturday, drove through Indianapolis about 4:00pm and there was a fire you could see the smoke from 30 miles away. What the heck burned up?

This trip was marked with fire, besides the fire in Indy, saw a boat burning in Kentucky,(they had managed to get the truck unhooked before it was involved) a car in Tennessee and a pickup in Birmingham, can't ever remember a trip with so many vehicle fires.

It was a "waste/salvage" company. The fire was evidently made up of stacks of old tires, pallets, and

15 cans of propane. Like you say, it was a big fire with lots of smoke. As of now, it is still smolkering and police are protecting the area as possible crime scene.
