Wow. I spent an evening at the Graves Hotel in Minneapolis and was literally surrounded by paldao veneer. As you looked up the walls the difference in grain pattern were so subtle that each panel looked almost identical to the next. These must have been carefully slip-matched, and from large logs to boot. Impressive.
