I am looking at constructing some Log objects (Not furniture but similar to those items seen in many Log Cabin magazines) - The questions I have are these.
1)Are there any books that show the finishing techniques (bark removal - sealing - finishes).
2)Is there anyone on the list that has done such thing and can perhaps just point to the techniques. I have heard that somefolks use sandblasting to do some of the highlight areas - just asking and not afraid of doing some trial and error to discover the how's
