Wiring Underfloor heating bits and bobs.

Nothing. I got a Eurobox, some rails and a rail mounted relay and a load of rail mounted screw terminals and spent a day MAKING mine.

And even then its not big enough..and has a couple of chocolate blocks inside it.

I've just been through a similar exercise, and I was mighty miffed that "wiring centres" were little more than pattress boxes and chocolate blocks - no cable management, no proper busbars (as in consumer units), not even a little packet of pre-formed wire U-shapes, as supplied with burglar alarms. There seems to be no way to avoid having more than one wire into the same end of the chocolate block, which is horrible if you need to mix flex and cable.

So, I don't think you're missing anything, unless I missed it too (always possible); the manufacturers of these overpriced near-empty boxes are missing the chance to make a useful product, I think.

If so then, assuming you are not using the auxiliary contacts, an MK lighting junction box might be suitable.

Quite shocking, that we are not being provided with the items to do a proper job, and rely on hacking somthing together.

You really have to wonder what the pros' do.. Shove them all into the same terminal ina chockky block, and bobs yer uncle...

I think they probably do what I did. When I asked the boys at the electrical wholesalers, they simply said 'use a eurobox, rails and screw connectors'.

It makes a pretty neat installation.

You PROBABLY could make a custom designed PCB or somesuch.
