Having to join several brass/iron threaded joints, I was recommended this by the local plumbers merchants for mains water use
The brass threads are very slack and I wanted a solid jointing compound, as PTFE is a waste of time.
This stuff seems like a soft putty and does not set. I can't believe that mains water pressure won't push past it and leak.
It does have a very impressive usage sheet, inc gas and steam to 7 bar and 200C.
