Voltage

Following massive line problems - trees on em, lines down, other issues, we now have power again, but are being fed in a round about sort of way.

At least I can now shut down the generator!!

But, currently my supply volts is now around 257 -260v.

Grrr.

Tim..

You can replace your 100ws with 60s and save money. And replace the lamps every other week.

I think I'd be tempeted to stay on the generator with the volts that high. Motors and heater type things might not object but I'd be a little concerned about expensive consumer electronics and my light bulbs...

Nah. don;t worry. It will be fine once your locality turns on 'Big Brother'

Nah - the sort who watch big brother have the TV on all day.
