Er, nice tracks and junctions ...

Not as good as someone who got stopped by the german police and asked where he lived

"Weisses Lamm Einbahnstrasse Lauf"

Einbahnstrasse means one way street for anyone who doesn't know

Reminds me of a quote in 78. " I'm '45', I was born in '33', is that a record?

I think they refer to it as the "Top Secret test track. Just off the A5, near Nuneaton. You can't miss it."

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember Halmyre saying something like:

Dead handy things, old bomber fields.

It's a good job I'm not waiting for ambulance ;-)

Can't anyone else see "Flash Road"?

Sadly there seems to be no "Flash Drive" anywhere in the UK.

OK, I seem to have a sexagessimal conversion problem.... I was getting a map centred on "Manchester street" which is down and right a bit - just the other side of the M5 where the A457 crosses it - hence my confusion!

I think I had managed to get maps to interpret my grid ref in degrees, minutes, and decimal fractions of minutes rather than seconds.

Your ref is indeed to flash road - apologies for the confusion.

Tones of Winchester Drives though...

Shades of the brown tourist information sign directing people to the "Secret Nuclear Bunker."
