Just a reminder to check you're getting the best deal when thinking of buying from Toolstation eg:

Swarfega Orange Hand Cleanser 450ml:

Toolstation: 4.96 Amazon (delivered): 3.46 Screwfix: 2.99 Aldi (seasonal): 2.89

Looks like the Travis Perkins pricing model is coming to the fore more and more often.

Also, has anyone noticed that non offer prices at CPC seem to be getting higher, some with extreme comedy value.

If anyone hasn't placed a web order there recently they are having problems with the new website, failure to link to old product codes and failures at the payment stage.

I agree that it's worth checking prices, but I did have a very good experience with Toolstation recently.

Toolstation did not have the mortice lock I wanted in stock at the local store, but they delivered it foc at 8 the next morning. 10% cheaper than Screwfix, who I think charge for delivery of items in that price range.

It's always worth checking, but after ordering something which I thought TS did not stock from eBay for what seemed a fair price, I was annoyed to find that they did in fact stock them for two thirds of the price.

They seem to put some items in really illogical places.

For unfindable, 'I'm sure they must do these' items, I'll sometimes use the google site search to track them down, eg:

site:toolstation.com

and marvel at the really stupid place they have hidden them away.
