Microwaves and coffee machines, both overkill. plug a clean kettle in, put in some nice fresh water, wait 5 mins, then do the washing up, make a lovley cup of tea, instant coffee, filter coffee (with coffee pot), use the hot water to expand metal and plastic. To use a coffee machine, make sure you have all the bits, wash them, leave your coffee to stand in a jug until its been reheated several times. And microwaves, burn your hand on the cup. A kettle is cheap, user friendly, and makes better pot noodles than either of the above.

Now Pete, thats just being silly lol.

Like a well designed building a electric kettle is both cost affective and easily adaptable, expresso machines will do the same job. But its like compairing a walter segal style building to the scottish parliment.
