Perhaps a long-shot, but does anyone happen to know the initial high- speed and idle needle settings for a Tillotson HU carb? (Deffo. Tillotson, anyway - and it has 'HU' stamped in tiny letters on the body, but Google seems to throw up all sorts of variations on Tillotson carbs with the HU name)
The mixture settings have been fecked with, so I'd like to get it back to 'get you running" condition and tweak from there (I'm going to strip it too, just to make sure it's not full of nasties)
I hate small IC engines. I don't know how I keep accumulating so many that need fixing ;-(
