At first gance I read that as nefarious, not as clever but possibly more accurate.

For MS365 things to consider include:

- who will have access

- who will manage who has access

- what happens if data is breached (eg if one of the people above gets phished)

- how much storage do you need

Often services like this are sold in bundles: X GB for Y users at £Z per month. Typically the X/Y/Z are in tiers: the consumer offerings are:

1TB / 1 user / £5.99 per month 6TB / 6 users / £7.99 per month

If you go exceed the size or number of users then you need to go up to the next tier, which can get expensive.

For businesses MS have per user per month pricing, which get increasingly pricier:

Whatever you do, it would be worth keeping offline backups - eg a couple of hard drives in the filing cabinet - in case of some catastrophe like a ransomware attack.
