Sunvic TLX RFP installation

I bought a Sunvic TLX RFP programmable wireless thermostat kit today and am having difficulty in understanding the wiring instructions for the receiver. The Sunvic website says that the receiver unit supplied with the TLX RFP kit is the TLX1206. This has three terminals on the back, the manual supplied with the unit says they are live, neutral and output. My trouble is relating this to the information on Sunvic's website for the TLX1206 where there apparently should be

6 terminals for this unit: 1) Live 2) Neutral 3) Unused 4, 5, 6) Two way switched output.

Combi boiler has two connections for a room stat, at the moment with a removeable link as the system works on rad stats only at the moment.

Can anyone help me out here?

How many terminals are actually ON the unit?

All you need to do is to use a thermo switched live mains into the combi anyway..I am fairly sure that these will fire up EITHER on DHW demand via inbuilt flow switches OR on application of voltage to the terminal..

I had the same problem but managed to get it working like this....

1) Remove any stat wiring from the bolier, including a link if it i fitted. 2) Take any live from the boiler terminal strip and connect it to th live of the reciever unit. 3) Take a wire from the reciever unit output terminal and connect it t either of the terminals where there once was an external thermostat o link. You only need to conductors as it is merely a switched live Good Luck with the programming though, I found this a bit confusing

good luck? - considering this post is five months old, it's probably safe to say the job has been done many moons ago.

Stay away from diybanter, the place is a shithole, try acessing newsgroups through a news client like outlook express.

I wondered where this thing came from and the time warp. Thanks for explaining it, although the comment about "bit confusing" probably explained it as the thing programmes itself. :))
