A friend has a shower cubicle that needs some work at the bottom so the plan is to remove the lower 6 rows (or so) of tiles, repair whatever evils are lurking behind and then to re-tile in a band all around so it doesn't look too awful. Is it still possible to buy 4 1/4" tiles?
(I know it would be better to re-tile the whole thing but that's a lot more work and the bathroom is going to be gutted in 6-12 months)
