Two days ago our smartmeter started acting funny: normally reading (say) 2.50 by lunchtime, it went down (from its usually previously upward trend to 93p. (This is the cumulative charge for the day.)
We have a dual fuel tariff from OVO; we're still on a variable rate (after the Putin Energy Crisis of a couple of years ago). The meter was installed at E.ON's behest in 2020, but we switched to OVO in March 2021.
This is the only problem we've ever had with the meter, and we have no problems whatever with OVO. However ... this is suspiciously close to the recent rise in the fuel prices: I'm concerned that "someone" may be pulling a fast one.
Any comments would be helpful, before I sit down to waste an hour or two of my dwindling life phoning a "Service Desk". (To be fair: I can't remember ever having to call OVO, so I may be misjudging them in advance.)
Cheers John
