Routing of DHW pipework

Aug 24, 2005 1 Replies

Are there any regulations about where this pipework can run within the house?

Can I put water pipework in the lounger or dining room for example?

The current 25mm MDPE passes under the suspended floor of the lounge, through the hall and into the kitchen. Is there any problem with that?

TIA

Mr F.

Not that I am aware of.

If you want. Just make sure that the pipes are well lagged to avoid problems with either freezing, condensation forming, or just plain heat loss.

Might be a pain if you stick down a floor that is difficult to lift and then later want access to it, but other than that no real problem that I am aware of.
