I would have liked a Traveller but at the time I was looking (17 years ago) the Travellers in good condition were above my budget. So I bought the saloon then and still have it.

To br fair to the owner, the only thing left out in the weather was the battery. The rest was either inside the boot or inside the passenger part of the car.
This in line connector is the type that I avoid. Very difficult to get on in tight spaces. Right angle ones give much better accessibility.
Thankfully not, though at least they do have a recall system.
