recycling damp bathroom ait into the house

we have a B&B and some 6 bedrooms exhaust their power showers steamyair into the atmosphere via individual extractor fans connected to a4inch pipe in the attic to a mushroom vent. Since we have the buildersin doing a load of work up there, I wonder is there a unit I couldmount in the attic so that rather than vent this lovely hot air (theseare BIG showers) we could send it out into the corridors for communalheating? Obviously the air would need dehumidifying, and the unitwould be needed to redirected to outside in summer when we get hotweather (hard to imagine in this snow). Ideally we'd run the unit on atimer/humidistat to save my electric bills.Any pointers to such a beast would be much appreciated!Simon

I have a whole house heat recovery system ... takes damp/stale air form bathrooms, WC, kitchen, utility ... into heat exchanger, and out of building ... new air comes in, though 3 filters then through heat exchanger, then distributed to living areas, bedrooms etc. Volume in - Volume out 2 matched low energy fans.

Used these systems on houses for past 30 years - would not have house without one.

what makes/models do you prefer? approx outlay? any pointers gratefully received...
