Quiz No 2: Yesterday I had round 1 (recorded message) of the digital aerial scam:

anyone guess how much the unnecessary aerial costs? No, I don't know the answer and don't have any fridge magnets. There's an option to avoid round 2 -- high pressure salesperson -- if you say "No" at the end of the message. We'll see if it works.



I tried to report them to the TPS, but all you get is a form asking you to give loadsa personal details to the scammer, so I bowed out of that one.

It is a bit of a slog *but* it can lead to formal action; and you know that as a responsible subject you ought to help bring stop these scumbags fleecing the ignorant.

If it's an automated call then it's the ICO, not the TPS, who should deal with your complaint. Don't hold your breath though. They take months to respond to complaints.
