And I can understand why. The only time we attempted to add a "self-adhesive" border - to brand new eggshell painted paper, it simply peeled off. We didn't use PVA but the damn border has hung off the walls in swathes ever since.
I don't even like borders, I thought it would mean that we needn't be precious about keeping an exactly straight line between two shades of paint.
It must have been twenty years ago ...
