Oven Cleaning

Baking tray, just the flat metal sheet type not one would make fudge in.

Some fresh fruit pie juice on the oven floor would probably hold it in place ;-)

Paperweights. I've used the ceramic electronic insulators that were too big to use as baking beads for blind-baking flan cases.

I was thinking along those lines but was considering magnetic strips like those in fridge doors but not sure what the heat would do to them

Could I make a paste out of it and use it on frying pans that my wife uses by pouring the food out rather that use a spatula?

You want a caustic soda paste? Add flour. Wouldn't want it in my kitchen though.

It does a good job of removing burnt oil on my stainless steel cookware. But be aware that caustic soda eats aluminium!
