OT: Councils.

Doesn't help, the Blue Badge is for a person not a vehicle. One could use a taxi, use a Blue Badge to park (almost anywhere) and ask the taxi to wait for you.

The number plates on old (vintage) vehicles are known to be a problem for most ANPR cameras, but there aren't enough of them for the authorites to be bothered about.

They aren't, there are specific fonts for number plates on cars after a certain year.

You can lose a cherished plate if they decide you are using an illegal font.

Its also an MOT fail but people just put the original plates on for the test.

For the congestion zone in London you can register two vehicles, they charge a one off fee of £10.

The dart crossing they look at the tax classification and I believe all motability cars are disabled class and pay no road tax and the ANPR cameras on the dart crossing check that so you can just drive through.

I assume there is a way to tell them you are a blue bade holder if you are not driving a disabled tax class car.

Not quite true..

you can't park on double reds,or clearways, but you can stop to allow a disabled person in or out.

You can't park where there is a loading restriction either.

Or anywhere *they* decide you are causing an obstruction.
