as I've saved about £190 (at least) buying a reconditioned board and fitting it myself (only a matter of undoing a few screws and plugging the new board in), rather than paying my local heating engineer to fit a brand new board.

Thanks to everyone, especially Geoff (and indeed the google archive). I now have piping hot water again!

I agree. Maxie does an excellent job in his enchanted workshop.

Just re-read my post and it sounds like an advert, suffice to say was merely thanking Geoff and the peop's who put me onto him for a job well done.

It is very nice to see the happiness Maxie radiated in all directions from the enchanted workshop.

Geoff provides an excellent service, and any real world experience of this doesn't amount to an advert.

Drivel can't accept that others may know far more about heating problems than him, so always *tries* a put down. And fails miserably.

And you have?

That might explain why he thinks you're a c**t?

Please point at one complaint here about Geoff's products. The many people I've recommended him to privately certainly haven't - they've been delighted.

I never said I had.

They must be putting him in bed by now.
