Just to say I used two strongboys per acro (top and bottom) to save either putting a load on the floor or going down to the ground. Very successful. Meant I could use the shortest ones available which easily fit in the car.
The 6ft 6in lintel was over 1 inch off plumb -but I hadn't noticed the brickwork being that far out before.
Was you bricking it when attempting to put the lintel in. ;-)

It actually went quite smoothly with the help of a couple of pals. Pretty heavy - 6ft concrete lintels.
