Even at 2k it's probably cheaper to buy the repro rather than a genuine Crapper... You might find a suitable cistern kicking about for less than a pan though.

Lead-lined wood cisterns were common up to WW2 so why not put a plastic cistern on the wall and build a nice wooden box round it. Stain to match the seat. A bit of metalwork to attach a chain to the flush mechanism and job's a goodun.
