Heating Thermostats

Hi all,

Im just wondering if the following Thermostat is compatible with my central heating system? Its the Siemens RDD10 Electronic Room Stat (Mains) which can be found by scrolling down on the following link:

CH system is just a standard boiler (not Combi) and the current ACL Drayton thermostat has the following connections on the back:

Blue Wire - Neutral Red Wire - Live Yellow Wire - Conneted to pin 3 on the back of the thermostat (four pins available).

If not what 'type' of thermostat is compatible with my system?

Cheers,

CM.

Yes it's compatible, but see below.

However, I'm not familiar with this range and they don't seem to give wiring details on that site. But the first couple *appear* to be mains powered - while others are the more conventional battery powering for this type of device.

Now of course the mains to the stat is only live when the system is active. So may need some alteration other than just at the stat. But I'm sure the installation instructions will cover all that.
