I have some bluetooth headhones thsat I bought for when I go walking. I listen to digital radio from my cellphone. When I took them off a couple of days ago the plastic headband snapped. I tried superglue but it wouldn't take. It is at an awkward spot too. Made in China of course. I would make a jig and try araldite but it looks impossible to support the two sections. Shall I stop whinging and give up. :(

Know anyone with a 3D printer who might be able to make a piece to bridge the gap? Then araldite that over the gap.
Araldite isn't a strength member. And it is also a bit light sensitive, in terms of changing colour as it ages.
Materials I have to hand for the job. Can't see the item so can't craft a solution.
1) Araldite. 2) Bicycle spokes 3) Bare 14ga solid copper wire 4) Super33 electrical tape (conforms better than "standard" unbending electrical tape, but can still get sticky on a hot day of the adhesive shifts). That's to cover 1,2,3.You can wind wire or string around an item, to give a surface for the araldite.
Also, if you have old ear-protectors, the strap from those is a lot stronger and shaped for a head. And some bodgery at the ends of one of those, could make a new headset.

Theres also some evidence to suggest that its "a bit light sensitive" in that it goes brittle after long term exposure to UV
Those clear cable tie things do the same and I believe that black ones are recommended for external installations
Many years ago when all I had was araldite, I needed to insulate a three pin batter connector so I gobbed araldite over it and having learnt in Chemistry that heat increases reaction speed, I nicked my mums hairdryer and set to work. To my surprise, the araldite turned clear and went a deep amber brown colour.
It also set as hard as a rock. Unlike curing at normal temperature. And in around 5 minutres, too.
I now always use heat on epoxy to set it.
It is way stringer that way.
