Just a thought - and it's probably been mentioned here before - but there are large numbers of unconnected threads under headings such as "Grand Designs" over the last years... I know the relevant people probably won't read this or take note of it, but perhaps if you are the next person to start a thread on the latest showing of one of these programmes you could include the date in the subject?
Something like
"Grand Designs 04/02/04"
Instead of just "Grand Designs".
