SWMBO has just decreed that in fact the new LED downlighters are indeed too bright, and henceforth shall be replaced. FFS. Bloody irritating as (a) LEDHut don't appear to sell an equivalent wide-angle downlighter of lower power and (b) the option of using a dimmer is not attractive as the lights are controlled from a 3-gang switch.
Though, it's interesting that the LED market definitely seems to have evolved from where the sticking point was that they were too dim for practical use!
