Having moved recently, I took a look at the power feed to the combi boiler. Not sure it's done correctly.
The power comes from a FCU in the bedroom above, the wire comes down next to the pipes to a non-swithched 'outlet' into which the boiler flex is wired.
The boiler is inside a cupboard that comes down to the worktop,
1) Should the wire be in trunking, or away from the pipes?
2) Should the FCU be within reach of the boier, and is it OK hidden in the cupboard?
3) Any other thoughts?
