I would like to purchase a nailer capable of shooting one and a half to two inch nails, but only have £40 - £50 to spend.
Anyone got any suggestions?

A hammer only costs a couple of quid and is more therapeutic as it takes all your aggression out on the poor little nail. It's also good target practice.
If you're only using the nailer for one job, then get all the bits cut and ready to fit, then, go to a hire shop and spend a few pounds on getting one of the big beauties that will do the job in no time. Then use the rest of the money you've saved to take a few pints at the local inn.
