'Egg box' mattress topper. Sources?

Bit OT perhaps...

Have used a 2 inch [ish] egg box mattress topper for years - great things. Might only last 12 months but they're cheap. Unfortunately the shop I used has closed, I tried

twice but their foam quality is v poor. After 2 months it has squashed flat.

Plennty of sources of memory foam, but I dont like the stuff - just want good old fashion foam, decent quality.

Anyone know any sources? Would be v grateful.

You could have a look at Ikea - they are not all memory foam.

A few years ago, we bought a memory foam topper (can't quite remember the details as to why now!). First night lying on it, I was violently ill. Am convinced it was some outgassed substance(s). There are numerous similar stories out there.

Round here there are at least two specialist foam companies who would sell you anything you want.

Have had a bad experience too, tho not that bad.

Ta for the Ikea tip, but have actually tried one. OK but not as good as the simple foamm.

One near me too, but only big orders. Wonder how hard to make your own?

Thanks chris. One of those is memory foam but the other looks ok - but hard to tell. Was hoping for someone knew a source they could recommend from experience.
