dot and dab - adding mechanical fixings

I'm dot and dabbing (or whatever its called with the new foam fixing stuff), but wish to put in some mechanical fixings especially near the top, just to be sure. Any tips for a quick or crafty way to do this? Specialist fixings? My only idea is to fix a batten at the top and screw into that. Cheers, Simon.

frame fixings?

Do you really need to, though? Dot'n dabbing should be fine on it's own; you'd be making a lot of extra hassle and work for yourself by insisting on mechanical fixings too

I think it is recommended to ensure the boards cannot come off in the case of fire. Simon.

The board manufacturers do specialist fixings for insulated boards.
