Disposing of 'used' white spirit

I've been washing my brushes in white spirit to remove the residue ofoil-based gloss paint, and now I have a few hundred mls of WS plussludge to dispose of. I could simply pour it down the drain, or ontoan out-of-the-way spot in the garden or in the woodland opposite, butI'm reluctant to do any of those if there are better options. What do other people do with it?
