My experience with sticky valves is:
- They jam up during the summer, when there's no demand for heat.
- Once eased, they tend to get regular use during the winter, and keep going until they jam up again the following summer.
- Eventually, they jam more and take more easing, at which point you end up replacing them, anyway.
Just my 2p worth.
