Cavity wall insulation exposed to the rain

We've had the dwarf wall for a new conservatory built and are waiting for the glass to be made up and fitted. The walls have glass fibre cavity wall insulation battens in them. The top of the walls have been left exposed so the insulation has got wet from all the rain.

Is this a problem or will it all just dry out once it is weather tight? The conservatory people say no it isn't a problem but SWMBO is worried so I'd appreciate a second opinion.

Thanks

It will dry out, but covering it would have been a good idea. I don't know how well cavity insulation prevents mould growth. Someone else may.

Thanks. I'll carefully ignore it in that case and focus on my shed.

Normally, a brickie will cover the cavity if it's left: Nothing special, just a cement bag or two of whatever comes to hand, to keep the worst off.
