About to redesign existing CH, advice please.

I moved into a bungalow some 6 months ago, and although the existing system works, it is a bit primitive and in the fullness of time I intend to bring it up to date as and when appropriate. The system has 6 radiators in 6 rooms/corridors and a small Myson hi level blower unit in the kitchen. 4 of the rads have old Myson TVRs which do not seem to have much regulating ability and are probably defective. I'm stuck with the boiler as it's only a year old (Gloworm Hideaway 60B FF) however all other components of the system are in the melting pot so to speak. In my previous house I didn't have gas, I had an oil Camray 3. 70/90 BF boiler which worked perfectly for approx 15years. It was controlled by a Honeywell AQ6000, a brilliant piece of kit which unfortunately is no longer available :-( . Obviously things have moved on since my previous installation and I would like to draw on the experience of obviously knowledgeable people in this group before deciding which route to take. A novel approach, (at least to me) I read in a earlier thread made use of the Grundfos Alpha pump with TVRs on all or most rads as a means of controlling independently the temp of rooms, but I understand that boiler manufacturer recommend a 11deg C temp diff across the boiler, how does one get around this or am I missing something? I'm aware of the DCD controller which appears to be the nearest thing to AQ6000 and I believe that Honeywell are bringing out Vision Pro 8000 series fairly soon but I don't have sufficient info on it yet to make the decision it will probably be factory programmed for specific applications in each country. What does the team think? What strategy should I adopt? Any relevant info gratefully received. Tom
