18650 lithium battery with charger?

I want to get a 18650 rechargeable lithium battery.

I will probably get this one unless there's another which someone might kindly suggest.

I have one of these and it appears to be OK, although I think I threw the included lead away as I had some better ones.

I've been eyeing up the Opus BT-C3400 chargers, seem to do NiCd/NiMH/Li-ion in any of the cylindrical sizes from AAAA to 26650

There's also the Nitecore D4 charger which seems to add LiFePO4 cells, but seems to be slower charging rate.

Any reason you'd pick LiFePO4 over Li-ion, capacities seem lower, is it just down to higher current for shorter duration?

My Nitecore Intellicharger i2 for these type of batteries has served me well.

No. LiFePo is bullet proof and can be totally flattened,. LI-ion will die the death in that case.

Voltage ain't the same tho.

Nitcore chargers have a good rep, lion batteries can be a crap shoot, depends on use if its for vaping want something less liable to explode.

Panny NCR hybrid batteries have a very good rep

IMR type instead of ICR type?

Nitocore has has several mentions in this thread, so I will go with that.

Huh? I don't understand why you mention LiFeP04. You got me puzzled now.

Are you saying I picked a non-standard 18650 lithium cell in the link I gave? It was this one:

I didn't mean you as in Pamela, I meant a non-specified person.

The Panasonic 18650 Li-ion certainly do have a good reputation but sadly Amazon is full of reviewers complaining about fakes.

You might try a local 'vaping' shop which seem to be springing up everywhere. I dunno if this is a size used for vaping, but that is a hard task for a battery so they're unlikely to sell rubbish.
