Why not change it
NT
Only because there are 2 sets on connectors with moulded on plugs ... appreciate I could change those as well ... just much easier if I can get one ... rather than 3.
They look similar to several 12V car connectors ... hopefully someone will recognise them.
It is an SAE connector. A 2 pole bullet connector which used to be common on cars.
Maplin do actually sell them , albeit already made up as a cable
or
I've seen them before. Similar situation for connecting battery connectors on the end of a Maplins low wattage solar battery charger
-which incidentally was crap. Seem to be called solar panel connectors

I'm sure I used to see them on car radios & the like
Thnx
You can make a cheaper one by using single bullet connectors
In article , bert scribeth thus
Yes those are used on Motorola Two way radios.
Some here...
Even English UK suppliers too;!..
SAE hermaphrodite connector?
That's what I need .... Ta
was just about to say .. 'but they are in US' gl;ad I read next post:-)
Just to throw a spanner in the works .. I have another (very good) CTEK charger, does anyone know if you can get these plug & sockets ...
tried Googling and can only find them made up by CTEK
I could then change the connectors on my RING charger to CTEK type and at least have standard connections.
I could buy the extension lead and the 56-689 adapter .... but together these would be £18 ... pretty pricey.
Yep, there are quite a few who do accessories like that..
All churned out in the same factory in china I expect;!..
Not quite sure why there are so many US companies advertising the same stuff as you can buy here - or from China - at a higher price plus exorbitant postage?
