I use a solid triangle type square for all of the adjustments around the shop and on the shop tools. It has never failed me, and I use it all of the time. It also has been dropped more that I would like to admit.

At the end of the day I'd rather spend time in my shop building furniture, and pay someone else to do the carpentry. I've gotten a few raised eyebrows from carpenters when they see my shop!

I forgot to mention that by the time the council renumbered, the owner of our current house (at the time) had converted the previous chauffeur's quarters to a shop. That was numbered 43, and the main front door 45.

This will allow you to run wiring and/or ductwork (for dust collection) under the floor to those 'middle of the shop' machines like your table saw. Of course, this is assuming your planning on a permanent garage shop. You know, without those pesky cars getting in the way!
