If you're really lucky you might find a refurbished Dualit in a catering shop - I bought a 2 slice one for =A330 and it's still fine after 6 years.
I've never regretted getting one 10 years ago - but then I bought it secondhand from a catering equipment shop for less than half price. They sold out quite quickly...
If you do, shop around. A lot of it comes from Ireland where they have lots of sheep with coarse wool. Prices will vary wildly from stupid to reasonable.
