Cutting plexiglass

I worked in a sign shop for years where we routinely cut Plexiglas sheets on a table saw with a carbide blade. Cuts great that way. blueman wrote:

CAD symbol libraries

Anyone know a source for woodworking symbol libraries, particularly 1/4" scale tools for shop layout and design? I have TurboCAD, but anything in DXF format would work.

metric miter slots

Take your miter gauge to the machine shop not the table. They should easily be able to mill the bar to specs to fit the slot. Joe Ingham

Table Saw - Bosch vs. Ryobi vs. Delta vs. HF

Still, the things a lot quieter than my "quiet" shop vac, and both are quieter than when the wood meets the blade.
