I do not like water-saving washers

My junior high school shop teacher was disfigured for life when he "just guessed" that muriatic acid might be the next thing to try, after lye failed to open a clogged drain in the wood shop. He's lucky to still have his sight.

thin (3.5mm) wood for making small (e.g. 30mm) tiles?

I want to make loads (thousands probably), so would want to avoid buying small amounts in a DIY shop or model shop if possible! :) Cheers, Chris

OT where to buy domestic appliances

I recently had a very good experience with a Baumatic dishawasher which failed that I'd bought from Electric Shop on line. Electric Shop went well beyond what the SOGA requires.

HF Dust Collector

I bought the five gallon separator when all I had was a shop vac. It filled up pretty fast. I haven't used it since I put the shop vac inside a muffler box.

Post-form formica countertops with no backsplash?

Sounds like you will have to make allowances for the part that has to be cut out to accommodate the chimney, take a picture of it and the type of material u plan to use, and have a local shop( formica shop ) fabricate it for you ?

[OT] Pink RV antifreeze in car radiator

My other car is dead in the shop, and my policy is not to work on one car while the other is in the shop. No backup to go for parts and such. So, I fill with water every morning.

DIY timber garage doors..

I'd wander down to the local door shop, and look at how they make doors that are similar to what you want, I'd look at sizes of timber, joints etc, and then run out the shop and write it all down in a notepad.
