IIRC the latest WoodSmith or Shop Notes magazine has router lift plans that use a pipe clamp and short pipe for lifting the router.
Now go out to the shop and build somthin. Since your pushin 56 you better use it while you got it ;-)

Try your local pawn shop. They always seem to have name brand stuff cheaper than retail. They will dicker on the price to. GT
