Laminated flooring problem (continued)

You need to call a millwork shop. Google search for "molding (your city)" A largish shop will have literally hundreds of styles and sizes in fifteen different woods (from teak to several kinds of oak to pine).

Baffle for dust collector?

Dust Collection

Where would you start with a dust collection system when you are ready to move up from the shop vac? I am a recreational woodworker and based on the price of the retail DC systems it would be the most expensive tool in my shop.

Great day in the shop

Finally had time to spend in my shop! I was able to add two more outlets and my first lighting circuit. The one clamp-lamp just didn't cut it. I'll add a few more light fixtures this week. The weather was great 65 +/- and the tunes were good thanks to Watson's music thread.

Seeking custom woodworking shop (oak)

I'm a small businessman in Tucson, Arizona, and I'm seeking a wood shop that can produce some custom made high-quality oak toilet seats according to specs. Can anyone recommend a small or medium-size shop that might do this work?

Of course, looking at my current shop vac hose in the shop, I pretty much have to untangle the mess and re-tangle it every time. Hmmm....

1/3 or 1/2 hp sump pump?

because gph & head are verifiable by the user..... and horsepower is close to meaningless for the user, all that matter is flow rate & head shop vacs list all sorts of bs horsepower number....like "develops 3 hp peak" or some such nonsense on shop vac I suggest looking that that ...

Window Air Conditioner - Fan runs continuous

I just purchased a Maytag Air Conditioner for my shop. It seems to work fine except the fan runs all the time. I hate to shut it off every time I leave the shop but I don't like the continuous run of the fan. Will this wear the fan out or would it be harder on it if it cycled on and ...

Glass for shelves

A glass shop that advertises windows, mirrors, shower enclosures. We shopped around for glass for a kitchen project, and found colored (opaque) glass in red, blue and green. Our shop cut a clear pressed pattern glass, then sent it out to be tempered for our application.

Special delivery (signed for post) is pointless

Just inside the entrance to the shop was the latest delivery by one of the package carriers. I could have just have had my pick of the packages left there and exited the shop within seconds.
