Why do such talented, artistic people so often have web sites I can't look at without feeling I'm about to have a seizure? Good grief, that's UGLY!
I just run a Smoothwall with a *big* hosts file to alias out all the advertising sites. The software's free. The PC it runs on cost £10.
. ;-) The only MS product I use is IE 5.5 to access those odd sites that my RISC OS browsers won't.
These were on sites. I never fitted them, as I would not be so silly as to do such a thing as fit a pushfit stop end.
That seems to me a rather bold statement given the many judgments which have been rather more nuanced - including at least one which involved a caravan sites.
Since you seem to know about these things, I see from stove manufacturers sites that plywood and MDF are no-nos too, but they don't say why.
One day they'll do a C&A and realise their sites are worth more than their business.
They slow things down as well as block useful sites. Which hosts providers in Hostman's Manage Update Sources are you using?
Try looking on the usual sites for 2W 'vintage' or similar LED lamps. Tend to be 'filament' (COB) and about 2000K, so not glaringly bright at night.
