OT Rain-X kit?

Go to an auto glass shop and tell them it's safety issue - the lumps distract the driver when the sun hit them. You are not lying. If you notice them when the sun hits them, then they are distracting you. Have the shop replace the windshield and handle the insurance claim.

New Code for shop lights?

It sounds as though you have been looking at the cheap shop lights with the short cord on them. What you see is what you get. For ceiling mounted yo u can get some wraparounds. If you want shop lights that you can mount on a ceiling, go to an electrical supply.

Reddy Heater - Good Deal?

And that open flame dosent bother you in the shop? Still makes me nervous. On a positive side, Im not expecting to need the propane version for extended periods of time. My 16k BTU heater pulled my shop from 1.9 C to 16.9 C last night in about 15 minutes. I was pretty happy with that.

I suspect that after having tried the numerous shop built jigs and having found success with using the Multirouter that the bitter pill of buying the Multirouter may soon be forgotten.

Craftsman table saw tuning semi-saga.

However, I don't know anything about the shop fox aluma classic fence. I have the Shop Fox Classic (biesmeyer clone) on my saw and it is very solid and accurate. I would also prefer the cast iron wings to the stamped steel if it were me (that means the G0444Z upgrade). Montyhp

sawdust allergy???

Had a girlfriend once, We used my shop's Shop Vac on the ft. porch carpet, Shop vac had a lot of walnut and Oak dust in it, And she broke out like crazy the next day, puffy eyes, skin rash,etc. Tony D.

Tung Oil Curing time

I get good results with tung and linseed oils when it is at least 70 degrees (21 C) in the shop. Drying time multiplies 3-5 times at 60, so I use a space heater in the winter. Helps to have humidity below 50%, too (requiring a dehumidifier in the summer - basement shop).

How to Design a stool

I have a couple of cheapy auto parts store stools that shop visitors like, and a couple of padded folding chairs for the rare times I sit.. I should probably build a few small a-frame stools, since the favorite perch in the shop for most folks is probably the 2' step ladder... lol
