repainting a wrought iron porch railing

There should be at least one shop that makes things out of iron/steel in your area. They will have a sandblast shed and a paint shop. Take it there and have it done professionally. Harry K

Sure, but the beauty of the shop jack is that everyone has one (right?). There is no need for anything special (I really don't want to take the car jacks out of the car - ever ;-).

How to heat a 9 x 16 uninsulated shed? Suggestions sought.

"AndrewV" wrote I did that in my last shop. They 55 gallon drums were too big. But a friend was able to get me two 30 gallon drums. They worked just fine. It was a double barrel stove. That thing put out so much heat that you could use the shop for a sauna if you wanted to.

Saw Horses for assembly stands, now has some wood content

My 7th grade shop teacher pointed out that something with 3 legs would never have a problem with stability, while something with more would. If those legs fold or come apart easily, they'd be ideal for hanging on a couple of hooks on the shop wall. Puckdropper

OT Wheelchair

Also paid someone to do the sheet rock in the shop expansion. 30 years ago in the first shop build we put up 4x12 sheets on the ceiling, now I would need lift equipment. 8-)) Mike M

Shop rents in most places with any passing trade is what caused a lot of them to close in the first place, never mind having to compete on price.

SDS drill bits in steel

I asked the knowledgeable people at my local hire shop the same question. They didn't know, but had never heard of a problem.
