Disposing of Fluorescent Tubes

And a £1000 fine for non-compliance if you get the wrong item in the wrong bin, put the bins out on the wrong day, too early on the collection day, fail to get them off the street after being emptied, or leave non-standard itms by the bins for collection. Dramatic?

2 live wires - my imagination?

You can buy TW&E with two browns (or reds in the old days) but I've never seen it used. Thing is if only one TW&E comes from the ceiling rose etc to the switch, it's pretty obvious what it is.

blue plastic water pipe to loft

Hep2O) which is what Christian has used :-) There are 101 plastic piping systems on the market, but apart from obsolete solvent-weld PVC they're either PEX or PP. Speedfit is the main brand of PEX, Hep2O the main PP.

Slightly OT - Wheely bin compactors

I have to say that Allerdale (Cumbria) where I live are absolutely fabulous about bins. (They have their crap points too of course.) Three Bins: Big Green one for Compostable Garden stuff. I put small trees in it. Small Green one for any paper or card.
