What is the best phone/net package in BT land?

Yes it wss te one time when I was bored and amused enough to follow his intructions He obviously wanted me to open a up a connmection to some ratware server or somesuch. I didn't tell him I dont have BT broadband and am all linux.

How would you set it up?

I have a dilemma in my shop. I don't know the best way to set it up. The space it 16'x9' and it has to contain several items, some of which hang on the wall. Walls are only 7' high, and the floor is very uneven as it slopes to one side due to the age of the home. I do 1.

Freesat dish - DIY possible ?

Where do you get a freesat card from for these FTV (Free To View) channels? Or do you really mean FTA (Free To Air)? I think Mr Hansen has just tripped over the confusion between FTV and FTA in relation to Sky boxen and Channel 4...

Hot Water Heater Preventative Measure

The heater was free but the local plumbing shop charged over $ 300 for labor and hauling the old carcass away. I dont think the builder even paid $ 300 for them new !

Kohler - Home Depot or plumbing supply house?

pretty soon you will have no where else to shop except HD,Lowes,Wal-mart. then up go the prices. there go your options. so much for free enterprise welcome to corporate enterprise. small co.'s are being pushed out everywhere.

Miter saw reviews

The crew at my local hardwood specialty shop agrees with you. They are a pretty large outfit that also does different types of custom work, one-off or production. If I was rich enough to retire, I'd go "work" there for free!

using sandpaper on a glass sheet to sharpen chisels

The lady at the glass shop also suggested 1/4", which is about $50 less than the 1/2". They sand the edges for free, too, all for about $12. Sold.

debugging wood

Hello, First, do not bring the wood into your shop or home. I am not sure if you can treat green/wet wood but check out: http://www.bugspray.com/and go through the articles. I've used the company's Boracare to treat for powder post beetles and it appeared to work really well.
