Joys of buying no-name from Ebay

Before lock-down my local pound shop would have a suitable product at, surprisingly, a pound :) During lock-down I ran out of stock so ordered some no-name 2 part glue from Ebay. It came all bubble wrapped on a card and I put it away this way for future use.

Big box store pricing.

Especially after having seen a show on PBS where a Wal-Mart exec admitted that their prices are often not the lowest available, I shop Wal-Mart the same way I shop Joe's Hardware; I check the price and quality before I buy anything of consequence. It's especially bad since Mr. Sam ...

OT 1TB USB Sticks

As long as you are savvy enough to check I bought a 32GB card for my camera that suffered that fault. Hence the reason that I will never use this channel for this product ever again [1]. 50% more from a shop for something that works. is well worth it.

Making our own curtains - any good links/websites?

Big open clean floor or large dining table (hide/anaesthetise/shoot the cat at this point), tailors chalk, lots of pins. Pin everything in the correct shape. Sometimes running a warm iron over the fold at the edge will help it hold the correct shape for sewing and not go awry. Then sew.

Pest control came and dealt with wasp nest in garden, what about stragglers?

Wasps don't visit flowers. Wasp larvae are carnivorous. Wasps keep the garden free of pests like greenfly and caterpillars.
